Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Via Stampatori, I appreciated not only the exquisite location but also the culinary offerings that complemented the atmosphere of this splendid 16th-century palazzo. Nestled in the heart of the old city, it afforded easy access to the Egyptian Museum and bustling local markets. Each morning, I enjoyed a continental breakfast served on the terrace, where tables adorned with flowering plants created a soothing ambience. The spread included fresh fruit, buttery croissants, and delicious yogurt, showcasing local flavors that mirrored the rich tapestry of nearby food establishments like Panini Di Mare and La Vispa Teresa. What truly resonated was the hotel’s capacity to guide guests toward delightful local eateries. Following the staff's recommendations, I dined at Ristorante Consorzio, where each dish celebrated seasonal ingredients. The hotel’s welcoming staff, particularly Emma and Alessandro, provided insightful suggestions, ensuring each culinary venture was memorable. As an archaeologist, I find cultural experiences and culinary exploration essential in travel. Via Stampatori serves as a perfect base for both, making it a destination I would choose again for future gourmet getaways in Turin.
